New toy
My old laptop was a brick that didn't run VS.Net fast enough for my liking, so I thought it was time for an upgrade. I went for the Sony Vaio PCG-Z1SP because of the weight, screen, wireless connectivity and the fact that I can slap 1gb ram in it. Oh, ok, and it's pretty sexy.
First impressions are good; it's light, bright and fast. Done the Windows Update thing. Now installing my dev kit. Boy does VC6 install fast on new machines ;)

So what's the claim on the battery life?
Posted by: DrB at June 17, 2003 07:32 AMIt says on one of the stickers on the palm rests that the battery life is 'up to 6 hours' but I expect that requires that you turn the cpu into 8086 mode and switch off the wifi and the screen ;)
