DNSBL - again...

If Richard Wolff is reading this then I can't reply to your emails as your ISP is bouncing my emails with this:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at ns.mgf4.net.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

Connected to 207.115.36.23 but sender was rejected.
Remote host said: 553 5.3.0 nlpi100,DNSBL:To request removal of, 69.0.209.156, send the complete error message in an E-mail to removeme@sbc.sbcglobal.net

I've sent a removal request message but the automated response doesn't give me that much faith that it will actually work...

Suggestions welcome.

We had similar problems a while back, and sorting out a combination of DNS and mail server config issues cleared things out. What needed to be fixed was indicated by this DNS report tool:

http://member.dnsstuff.com/pages/dnsreport.php

Try it on your domain name; you'll find some error-level issues that might trigger the ISP to bounce your emails. At least that's what it was for us.

Cheers.
